103-Year-Old ‘Feisty’ Grandma Cracks Open A Cold One To Celebrate Recovering From COVID-19

Jennie Stejna is the 103-year-old “feisty” grandmother from Wilbraham, Massachusetts that celebrated her victory against the novel coronavirus by having an ice-cold beer!

If your reaction now is “GOAL!”, then you’re not the only one!
Yes, you read that right: grandma Stejna remarked that the Bud Light she had was “cold” as she took a sip of it in her nursing home bed. She confirmed that it was good before taking another one.

According to Jennie’s granddaughter, Shelley, the 103-year-old loves baseball and beer, and she’s a huge Red Sox fan. In fact, the granny used to sit outside and listen to Red Sox games over the radio.

Sadly, the feisty grandma caught the coronavirus three weeks ago, and she was the first person in her nursing home to get the disease, and her situation got so bad at one point that her family prepared to say their final goodbyes.

During a family visit, Shelley’s husband asked the grandma if she was ready to go to heaven, to which she responded “hell yes”. Miraculously, though, the 103-year-old made a truly remarkable recovery, and she became the very first person at her nursing home to overcome Covid-19.
