73-Year-Old Woman Wrote A Poem About Non-Binary People That Will Melt Your Heart

Even though we often hear the expression “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”, I believe that’s just an excuse from a stubborn person that wants to get away from the responsibility of growing.
Older people that have open minds and open hearts are capable of embracing new ideas just like everyone else, if not even more, and this was the case with the 73-year-old aunt of non-binary illustrator Theo Lorenz.

Theo recently shared a poem his aunt wrote about his pronouns in her church writing group, and it’s the sweetest thing ever.
They shared the poem on Twitter, where it received more than 100k likes.

The poem is absolutely breathtaking, and it resonated with many people who identify as non-binary. Many people were moved by Theo’s aunt, and the responses started pouring in:
