According to the documents filed with Hendricks County Superior Court in Indiana, the 17-year-old high school student who allegedly became violent and forced s*xual activity on several classmates has been charged with r*pe and will be tried as an adult.
Levi Stewert is accused of “threatening, intimidating and harassing young female students in his classes to engage in s*xual activity with him.”, according to a probable cause testimony filed with the court.
He was charged with two counts of felony r*pe, and has been since released on a $5,000 bond.
Four of Stewart’s female classmates who said that Stewert tried to pressure them to perform s*xual acts have been interviewed by the Plainfield Police Department in the investigation that began on August 20, when Plainfield High School received an anonymous tip that a male student was about to fight Stewart because “he was tired of Levi putting the female students in fear”.
A 17-year-old classmate alleges Stewart took her to a park and told her that he wanted to “smash”, and he started yelling at her when she refused. According to the testimony, he then started yelling and told her that she doesn’t care about him if she doesn’t “s*** his d***”.
He then forced her to perform oral s*x, and she says that she didn’t realize the severity of what happened at first, and decided to “slap a bandaid on it and pretend it didn’t happen.”.
A different 17-year-old classmate stated that Stewart pressured her into s*xual acts on multiple occasions, and then told her that “that is what couples do”.
He allegedly told her that he would commit suicide when she tried to break up with him, but she eventually decided to break up with him anyway.
According to an 18-year-old female classmate of his, he began to get “emotionally aggressive” in their relationship and pressured her into having s*xual activity multiple times.
In yet another instance, a 16-year-old student told the police that Stewart had become physically violent with her after she refused his advances.
According to Hendricks County Court, his next hearing is on November 14.
