Artist weimankow was on sick leave for three weeks due to a respiratory illness back in January, and she spent a lot of time researching respiratory illnesses while she was ill. The news about the new Wuhan virus broke out at the time, now better known as COVID-19, and she made a summary of what she had learned about the coronaviruses in general in illustrations.
What she found, though, was that many articles about the topic were truly difficult to digest, so she tried to simplify her comic as much as possible so even children could understand it.
The comic is available as an infographic and she encourages anyone to download and print them as posters. The comic has even been translated into multiple languages, and you can check it out for yourself below.
