A new mom has decided to take it to Netmums to share her story and ask for advice. As it turns out, the exhausted mom recently welcomed her first child with her partner of two and a half years, and, naturally, she stopped making efforts to put on makeup after giving birth. However, only seven weeks after their son was born, her boyfriend told her that he wants to break-up with her because she stopped wearing makeup and “making effort”.
She shared that he told her he doesn’t love her anymore and that things have changed since their son was born. He bragged about her not making “any effort with her appearance”, specifically that she doesn’t wear makeup anymore.
The new mom noted that even though she still shaves her armpits regularly, she hasn’t shaved her bikini line because her c-section hasn’t healed properly yet. She asked fellow moms on Netmums if her partner has a valid point, and you probably know already what the answer was.
Fellow moms were absolutely disgusted with this shallow behavior, and most of them said that he doesn’t even deserve a family and that she should tell him to pack his bags.
In fact, most of the commenters agreed that even though taking care of a child as a single mom is extremely tough, he might make her a favor by breaking up with her.
