The boyfriend, Reddit user “chore_throwaway” wrote into the “Am I the A$$hole?” subReddit, trying to get a grip on what had happened in his relationship in the last few weeks.
So, the boyfriend decided to take it to Reddit’s AITA subreddit and ask if he’s in the wrong for using their home security cameras to expose his girlfriend’s ‘gaslighting’. However, when he confronted her, she accused him of assaulting her privacy, and broke up with him. He now wanted to ask fellow Redditors if he was in the wrong here, and Reddit had a lot to say about the situation.
Even though every story has two sides, it’s safe to say that most people actually sided with the boyfriend here, and thought that he was not in the wrong here.
Others, though, suggested that they’re both in the wrong here, because even though he might have been cleaning more around the house, what he did was definitely a violation of her privacy. But what do you think? Is the boyfriend the one to blame here, or they’re both equally “guilty” for the breakup?
