Bride Won’t Make Groom’s Niece Wear a Dress to Her Wedding, Asks If She’s Wrong

Although weddings should be celebrations of love and commitment, people often lose track of what’s important and what’s not so they often get carried away in the theatrics of it. It’s not uncommon for a bride to become a ‘bridezilla’ and start making unrealistic demands, but this is not such a story. In fact, this bride had every right to be a bridezilla.

Namely, one bride-to-be recently shared the story of how she got caught up in a family drama with her fiance’s niece and her parents over what the teen should wear to the wedding day. The bride, (Reddit name Extreme-Break-6638) decided to ask the court of Reddit for help and took it to the Am I The A-hole subreddit. She asked: “AITA for telling my soon-to-be niece that she doesn’t need to wear a dress to my wedding?” – and Reddit responded. Check out the story for yourself below, and find out if she was found to be the a-hole or not.

Obviously, the majority of people voted that she’s absolutely not in the wrong here, and that she shouldn’t back down to the pressure. We must admit that we agree with the Reddit court wholeheartedly, and it’s nice to see a bride that doesn’t make a big fuzz of the whole ‘bridesmaids dress code’ situation.
