Bridezilla Sets Outrageous Requirements For Her Wedding That Even Her Own Brother Didn’t Show Up

Weddings should be celebrations of love and life. Two people have decided to spend the rest of their lives together, and that’s the most important thing, right? Well, to some people, weddings are all about showing off to others and making the biggest fuss possible about it. Yes, we understand that weddings are incredibly expensive, and happy couples want everything to go perfectly. You’re spending tens of thousands of dollars, so you want the event to be truly special and everything to go smoothly. But across the ultra-expensive decorations and stuff that no one will even notice, some people forget about the stuff that really matters: family, friends, and having a good time!

We’ve had countless bridezilla stories featured on our site, but this one is up there with the craziest ones. We know that some brides can go ‘extra crazy’ due to the stress that planning a wedding brings, but we believe this one crossed the line. Believe it or not, she asked all of her guests to shave their facial hair, and any woman with shoulder-length or longer hair ‘must’ cut her hair or wear it in a ponytail. Geesh. On top of that, the bride asked for gifts worth of $300 or more, otherwise, the guests would be asked to leave.

So, the bride’s brother, Redditor MoneyMoneyMoney300, decided not to go to the wedding due to the ridiculous requirements. However, his parents and his sister accused him of ruining her day and being the a-hole, so he decided to ask the court of Reddit for their honest opinion. He shared the story on the popular Am I The A-hole subreddit – and Reddit had a lot to say about it.

Check out the story for yourself below, and see how Reddit responded.

Redditors unanimously voted that the OP is most definitely not the a-hole here, and some of them even suggested that his sister is the queen of bridezillas. NTA all the way!

NTA, I think it should be up to the guest weather or not they have facial hair or what type of hair style they have and if they bring a gift (if they do they should be able to choose how much it’s worth. What if the guest can’t afford that much??
