Chris Pratt Responds To Ellen Page After She Called Him Out For His Homophobic Church

Ellen Page has proven that she is a lot more than just everyone’s favorite movie character Juno.

She was a guest on “The Late Show” recently, and she called out the problematic leadership in America in the interview. She said that the vice president of America wishes that she didn’t have the love with her wife, because he wanted to ban that in Indiana, and he believes in conversion therapy. She added that he has hurt LGBTQ people very badly as the governor of Indiana, and the interview has since been viewed more than 15 million times.

Many people loved what she said and thanked her for it, and many said that they are now new fans of Ellen Page.

So, when the mega-popular actor Chris Pratt was also on the “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert, Ellen Page did not approve of the subject matter. Pratt went on to discuss his “spiritual side”, because he is a member of the Zoe Church in LA, and it’s a church modeled after Hillsong. The thing is that it doesn’t allow gay people to participate in leadership roles and believes that homosexuality is a sin. This belief doesn’t mean that gay people aren’t welcome at their church, but it means that their love lives have to be… forgiven?

Chris Pratt was quick to call out Page and defend his church, and he did it by quoting her in his Instagram stories. He said that his church welcomes everyone, and you can check what the story looked like below:

Many people noticed that comparing divorce to homosexuality is the peak of straight white male privilege, and they didn’t hesitate to call out Pratt once again:
