Richard Herring is an English comedian that has a running gag about “International Men’s Day”, and it’s raising thousands of dollars for charity.
He spent International Women’s Day trolling the generic men on Twitter who were complaining that “there’s no International Men’s Day”.
The comedian responds to these indignant men who are asking about International Men’s Day each year, and he sends them a GoFundMe page for a UK women’s charity named Refuge. This year, he spent 16 hours on Twitter to prove people that there’s actually an International Men’s Day, and it’s on November 19th.
Many people applauded him for his trolling that also turns out to be charitable:
There were many people, however, who accused him of making International Women’s Day all about men. What do you think about this? Tell us in the comments!
