Many women face muscle cramps and intense pain during their periods, so a company called Foria says that they have created a solution for that. They have created the “cannabis suppositories”, and they are designed to help women relieve these symptoms.
The tampons are laced with cannabis, and they contain the two main active cannabinoid compounds found in marijuana – THC and CBD.
They contain 60mg of THC and 10mg of CBD, and they relax the muscles and nerves, stimulate the release of happy chemicals in the brain, and soothe the pain.
Women who have tried them claim that they are incredibly effective. However, you have to join Foria’s collective in order to purchase them, and you might need to submit an application along with a physician’s recommendation letter depending on the state you live in. Oh, and a pack of them costs $44.
The company’s official website reads that the product has been specifically formulated to provide relief from pelvic discomfort and menstrual pain, and there are many comments by women who have tried it and claim that it works.
The company also claims that the product causes no psychoactive effects, and it’s free of pesticides, heavy metals, microbes, and other toxins.
What do you think about this? Will you try it? Tell us in the comments!
