Curvy Model Recreates Victoria’s Secret Catalog To Challenge Their Rigid Model Standards, And The Results Speak For Themselves

Tabria Majors is a Brooklyn-based model that has a fighting words for Victoria’s Secret and she proved her point with just three Instagram photos. She decided to post her favorite summer-photos in order to draw attention to the rigid beauty standards demonstrated by the ad campaigns of the company, and she looks absolutely incredible! If this doesn’t prove that curvy women can look just as (if not more) beautiful and can sell just as many undies as the size-2 VS ‘angels’, than we don’t know what will. We think that skinny girls are beautiful too, but we just think that there needs to be more diversity going on.

Majors captioned her set of photos with: “Maybe I’ll be a Victoria’s Secret Angel this year for Halloween, since it ain’t happening in real life,” and she’s got more than 50k likes by now!

This is one of the many backlashes the plus-sized models have leveled at the lingerie empire, as runway star Ashley Graham has been vocal about being ‘ignored’ by the brand on multiple occasions, and she even campaigned with Lane Bryant with the hashtag #ImNoAngel. Maybe it’s time for these guys to get the message. What do you think about it? Scroll down and decide for yourself!
