There are some parenting stereotypes that are well-established into society, such as the one that ‘fathers can’t change a baby’s diaper’. I know – these are old stereotypes that don’t really hold water today, but some people still stick to them.
Contrary to this rather unpopular belief, many dads do change their babies’ diapers, but the lack of changing tables in men’s restrooms does pose a problem. This was the case with Redditor RocksAndHardPlaces1, who brought his son to a store, and the baby did ‘his dirty business’. However, when the dad went into the men’s restroom to take care of it, he realized that there was no changing table. So, he figured that he has to go to the women’s restroom to do that. It was either that or the floor, so it was an easy decision.
Unfortunately, some female shoppers weren’t happy to see him there, which is why he decided to take it to the Am I The A-hole subreddit and ask whether he was in the wrong for going to the ladies’ room.
Check out the story for yourself below, and decide whether he was in the wrong or not.
The story gained a lot of popularity on Reddit, and, expectedly, almost everyone voted that the dad was not the a-hole here. If anything, he did wrong for rushing out of the ladies’ room because he didn’t do anything wrong.
