Tawnya Ford and Larry Sumpter are the parents of the 15-year-old Madelynn. The parents recently discovered that their daughter managed to smuggle in some boys into a girls-only sleepover, so they decided to take on measures about her behavior and ground her. Surprisingly, though, they offered her two options: Either she would have to go without her phone for a month, or she would have to let her parents get complete control on her social media for two weeks.
Thankfully for her, us, the parents, and pretty much everyone, Madelynn chose the second option, and her mom and dad had a full control over her social media for two weeks.
What it meant was the parents got to post on their daughter’s social media profiles, and they were having a lot of fun! Check out some of their posts:
Ford told TODAY that they told their daughter she can either go for a month without a phone, or two weeks without a phone, but they have complete control of her social media. Well, we guess she’s probably going to regret her choice.
Madelynn changed her mind after the first day, and she chose the one month. Her parents told her, though, that they’re too invested now, and they have too many ideas.
The 15-year-old eventually got her phone and her social media back, and she posted this photo, alongside with the caption:
“I’m back sweeter than ever and ready to make good choices.”
