Family Dogs Keep Missing Autistic Toddler Safe In The Woods

Marshal is a three-year-old autistic boy from Ponce De Leon, Florida, who went missing on Wednesday morning. As reported, the boy disappeared wearing only his diaper, and he can’t speak, which meant that his family was extremely worried about how and if they will be able to reunite with their son. However, a very important fact in the story is that Marshal disappeared together with the two loyal family dogs Nala and Buckwheat.

Kayla Stewart, Marshal’s aunt, told WJHG/WECP that they were panicked and all sorts of worst-case scenarios were running through their heads.

The family, local and country police, officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and neighbors all looked for Marshal for several hours before someone found him a mile away near a river. As it turns out, Marshal was unharmed, and he was flanked by the two dogs, Nala and Buckwheat.

Thank God for the dogs!

A neighbor told the TV station that both of his dogs were right there with Marshal, and everyone’s thankful that the pups kind of guided the boy along and kept him safe.

Expectedly, Marshal’s family was beyond happy to see the three-year-old return home safely, and they were also very thankful and proud of their canine family members.
