If you live on the Northern hemisphere, you are probably happy to see the nicer weather and the trees and flowers coming into bloom.
However, there are many people that feel that it could be potentially a double-edged sword. Why? Because they will spend half of their summers sneezing and wiping their noses.
Well, maybe science has the solution for you, and it includes a bit of fun.
Reportedly, scientists in Iran have discovered that there is a link between the reproductive system and the nasal system, and having intimate intercourse constricts the blood vessels in the nose and eyes and causes eyes to stop watering and the nose to unblock.
The researchers at Tabriz Medical University haven’t performed any clinical tests on this yet, but a serious medical journal called Medical Hypotheses published their work.
Sina Zarrintan, one of the neurologists behind the research, said that the method they’ve devised would be more fun and only necessary when the symptoms are really bad.
The problem is that, however, to find someone to be intimate with you when hay fever symptoms are bad.
Zarrintan added that it can be done from time to time in order to alleviate the congestion, and the patients can adjust the number of intercourses depending on their symptoms.
Not everyone agrees, however.
Mohammad Amin Abolghassemi Fakhre from the same university disagreed with Zarrintan, and stated that there are some limitations as using intercourse as a treatment of nasal congestion, such as not being applicable out of home, and not having any partner.
