A clip showed a man Naruto running past a reported near Area 51, the top-secret US Air Force that people have been (jokingly) planning to storm today in order to see the aliens.
The clip shows KTNV news reporter Joe Bartels reporting live from the area to cover the final preparations for Alienstock – the themed festival planned to tie in with the Area 51 raid.
The reporter said that there are lots of campers and RVs because there are no hotels in that isolated area.
He said that there are people coming in from everywhere around the world, especially from the U.S., interested to see what will happen with the idea to storm Area 51. Reportedly, authorities are expecting up to 30,000 people to show up.
As he signed off the segment, he was brilliantly upstaged by an anonymous man behind him, Naruto running past the camera. This is a reference to the original event’s description, which told people that “if we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets and we will see the aliens”.
Thousands of people have retweeted the photo in just a few hours, and it’s definitely a photo that will go down in history.
