Huge Fire Broke Out At Notre Dame, The Famous Paris Cathedral

Breaking news: A large fire has broken out at the famous Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, France today.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and firefighters are attending the scene. Officials have indicated that the fire could be linked to the current renovation work.

People on social media have started sharing images and videos of the large plumes of smoke above the building, and the fire seems to have spread to the cathedral’s spire.

Firefighters are now trying to take down the large blaze in a major operation, and the area surrounding the Gothic building has been cleared.

The Catholic Church launched an urgent appeal for funds to repair the building just last year, as it was showing signs of decay.

The construction of the building started off in 1160 and was completed in 1260. Even though it has been modified throughout centuries on numerous occasions, it still has the original look.
