It seems like the discussion of whether stay-at-home mothers are in any way different or “lazier” than working women has been around for ages, and we know, for a fact, that being a stay-at-home mom who works tirelessly around the house is not worth any less than any other woman who chooses to earn an honest living by working a job.
One Reddit user decided to take it to the popular “Am I The A-hole” sub to ask whether he was in the wrong for criticizing his sister for being a stay-at-home mom after she criticized his career choice. As it turns out, the guy is a male nurse, and his sister made a sexist remark about his career choice, so he defended himself by criticizing her that she has never worked a day in her life. The story is a roller-coaster, so we invite you to read it for yourself before making a judgment.
Although we can all agree that he went too far with the stay-at-home mom comment, most people actually blamed her for being the a-hole and let him off the hook. What do you think? Was the Original Poster in the wrong for calling out his sister for being a stay-at-home mom, or she’s more of an a-hole for insulting his career choice?
