Man Says Tampon Drawing Is ‘Obscene’ And Thinks He’s Protecting ‘Society’s Purity’

Women’s sanitary products have been excluded from value-added tax (VAT) since January 1, 2021, and Brits are very proud of that.
The dissolution of the tampon tax was announced by Her Majesty’s Treasury with an infographic featuring a drawing of a tampon.
However, radio presenter and journalist Adam Garrie went crazy about the photo and called it ‘obscene’.

The internet was having none of that, and Twitter users flooded the tweet with negative comments against Garrie and his views. As it turns out, Garrie fully supports the actual policy. The only problem he had was with the image.
