The First Lady of the U.S. Melania Trump is the third most admired woman in the country, according to a recent study completed by data collection organization YouGov.
Melania Trump was only surpassed by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the former First Lady Michelle Obama, sho was voted the most admired woman in the world too.
Even though all the women who made it on the list are powerful and they are all inspirational leaders of their own right, Melania Trump managed to beat TV show hosts Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres, politician Hillary Clinton, Nikki Haley, as well as Queen Elizabeth II and Malala Yousafzai.
Even though Melania only placed 19th in the list of most admired women in the world, it’s no surprise that she made it on the top 10 of the most admired women in the U.S. list, because she is married to the President of the United States after all, even though he is constantly embroiled in scandal after scandal.
Perhaps the determination and determination to stay by his side is an admirable quality after all.
However, many people believe that the list doesn’t reflect the true sentiments of American citizens across the country, and there was criticism regarding who should have been on the list at all from both sides.
For example, some Twitter users wrote that YouGov’s poll saying that Michelle Obama is the “most admired” woman in the world is a joke, because the class and elegance of Melania Trump make her a hundred times more admirable.
Others, however, had different opinions.
Some users stated that Melania Trump doesn’t even deserve the 19th place because she has done nothing, and the only thing she does well is stand up straight with her hands at her side.
Unsurprisingly, the list left the internet with mixed emotions, and revealed once again that America is probably much more divided that we initially thought.
What do you think about the list? Does Melania deserve the 3rd place as the most admired woman in the U.S. and the 19th most admired woman in the world? Tell us in the comments.
