Michelle Obama, the former First Lady, has dethroned Angelina Jolie as the most admired woman in the world, according to a survey conducted by YouGov.
The results of the survey suggest that the Obama’s are the most admired couple in the world, and former President Barack Obama was voted as the second-most admired man in the world, only behind Bill Gates.
The Obamas topped both lists for 2019 in the U.S., but what was surprising that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump came in second and third, respectively.
The results come after a 2018 Gallup survey also suggested that Mr. and Mrs. Obama were voted the most admired man and woman in America.
The new survey, however, suggests that the Trumps are not as admired internationally as they are in the U.S.
Donald Trump ranked 14th internationally, and Melania Trump 19th.
YouGov noted that there are some differences between the men’s and women’s lists.
They noted that the female list is dominated by entertainers, and 12 of the most admired women are actresses, singers, or TV presenters.
By contrast, the list of most admired men contains more politicians, businessmen, and sportsmen.
