Every parent has the right (or duty) to embarrass their kids. If you can’t take some enjoyment from it, why even have kids in the first place, right? Plus, it seems like everything we do embarrasses them anyway, so at least we can have some fun with it. And trust us, this mom at a Padres baseball game did exactly that!
At one point of the game that took place at San Diego’s Petco Park on Monday night, Flo Rida’s hit song “Low” came on over the loudspeaker. This mom did exactly what anyone would have done when this song comes on: she got right up out of her chair and started to dance.
Naturally, her sweet, sweet dance moves earned her a showing on the big screen, and the teenage kid next to her immediately swallowed himself into his Top Gun T-shirt. He was completely mortified and was hoping that it will all be over quickly. However, the party was just getting started!
The man sitting next to the boy, possibly his dad, just couldn’t let go without further embarrassing the kid. He joined in on the fun, and even pointed at the boy.
The poor teen turned from crimson to full-fledged third-degree burn while the adults around him were having fun. People on Twitter, obviously, just couldn’t get enough:
We are pretty sure that all of you kids who are watching the video will feel this boy’s pain on a deep, deep level. However, the parents are high-fiving the air in collective appreciation for this adult that just wanted to have some fun.
