Anyone that has ever had to choose a babysitter knows just how challenging a task it is. I mean, the last thing you want when you have another person taking care of your child is having a feeling that something’s off.
Well, that’s exactly what happened to Reddit user CeleryKey9938, who decided to share her story with the world.
Namely, she shared that she started having doubts that one of the workers at her daughter’s daycare center was acting strange around her kid, so she began paying more attention to her. In just a few days, she noticed a huge level of familiarity that she couldn’t accept, so she went to talk to the director.
As it turns out, the worker had to be released, so she had to say goodbye to Celery Key’s daughter and her job as well.
However, after the mom shared the story with some of her acquaintances, they told her that she maybe could have handled the situation in a calmer manner and not gotten the daycare worker fired. The mom felt unsure about her actions, so she took it to the popular Am I The A-hole subreddit to ask whether she was in the wrong or not.

This is how fellow Redditors reacted to the story. Although some people voted that she might be in the wrong here, most people actually voted that she’s not the a-hole, and the daycare worker did overstep her boundaries. But what do you think? Did she go too far? Tell us in the comments.
