If you’re an 80’s or a 90’s kid, chances are that you’ve been told what you should do when guests come over by your parents. The ‘proper etiquette’ of what one should do while guests are over is not set in stone, though, and different principles are valued in every home.
Although some people feel that it’s absolutely fine to dress comfortably (since you’re in your home, after all!), but others feel that you should be ‘presentable’ in front of the guests and show respect.

Reddit was unanimous: they voted that the teenage girl is most definitely not the a-hole here. However, just as a thought: why invite someone over if you think they’ll sexualize your teenage daughter?
