Kate Swenson is a mom that recently decided to share how she doesn’t recognize herself anymore after becoming a mom, and it’s a topic that is very, very relatable to millions of moms around the world, but it’s not openly discussed because of the fear of judgment or mom-shaming. Becoming a mom does not mean that everything is rainbows and butterflies, and mom’s identities literally change after becoming a parent. People often talk about how cute and fun kids are, but they never really talk about how behind every adorable child, there’s a parent that is freaking out about things like finances, their body, their own relationships, the lack of sleep, etc.
