Cindie Allen-Stewart is a mom-of-two from Mount Calm, Texas.
She recently shared a rather unorthodox hack for soothing a sunburn, and her hack is now getting an incredible amount of attention.
Apparently, the secret is menthol shaving foam. And, as it turns out, the procedure is rather simple: All you need to do is apply a layer of foam on the area and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it off.
She shared before and after photos, taken three days apart, showing a much less angry-looking burn.
She told BuzzFeed News that menthol cools the skin, and even if you just put it on your skin and its not burned, it feels cooler right away.
According to her, if the burn still feels bad the next day, you should do another 30 minutes.
Allen-Steward shared her hack in a Facebook post for her friends to know the hack, but it has since gathered more than 230k shares!
