Mom Thinks Schools Should Ditch Misogynistic Dress Code Because They Made Masks ‘Optional’

If there’s one thing that everyone should learn is that life is a two-way street. It’s 2021, and hypocrisy and double standards don’t fly anymore.

One feminist mom from Chattanooga, Tennessee, decided to call out her daughter’s school for being hypocritical after they declared that students are not required to wear face masks, and they can opt-out of it if they don’t want to wear masks.
The mom then contacted the school board to opt-out of the school’s official dress code because she finds it misogynistic and detrimental to the self-esteem of young women. The mom’s main goal was to highlight the importance of wearing masks, and protest the misogynistic dress code at the same time.

The email was shared on Twitter by Mark Elliot and The Tennessee Holler, and it quickly gained a lot of attention and sparked a discussion about school uniforms and wearing masks during the Covid pandemic.
