There are people in this world that do things without worrying too much about the consequences of their actions, but these things can sometimes bounce back.
Melissa Scruggs is a woman from California who woke up to a giant boulder blocking her car one day, and it was placed there by her neighbors. However, what they probably forgot is that Melissa is a volcanologist – she is pursuing a Ph.D. in studying rocks.
Melissa has been living in the same building for about 3 years now, together with other grad students, and her current neighbors are undergraduates who moved in there recently. She was a bit worried at first because they like to throw big parties, but they had been recently considerate with the noise and had been keeping it out of Melissa’s yard.
So, this is what she shared on her Twitter:
She explained that she never really had any issue with them until a week and a half ago. As it turns out, there was a rock on their parking lot, and one of the drunk neighbors (or their guests) decided to move the rock on her side of the fence.
She went over to their place to ask them to move the rock and stay out of her backyard, and that to be done by 7 am. However, when she woke up, the boulder was moved all the way in front of her car. So, she figured that if she moved it back, they were just going to put it in front of her car again.
Well, remember when we mentioned that she is a volcanologist? It turns out that Melissa is pretty good with rocks!
People were intrigued by the first tweet, so they wanted to know more about the whole thing:
