The highly anticipated Netflix documentary “The Disappearance of Maddie McCann” will be available on the streaming media service tomorrow. The trailed was dropped today, just one day ahead of its release.
The documentary will provide a more “detailed” look into the case of the 3-year-old Maddie McCann, who vanished from a bedroom while on holiday in Portugal with her family in 2007.
This is the official trailer:
Many people think that this documentary will be one for the history books, and most of them think that this is going to be very, very interesting. Some also jokingly (or not) said that this is what they will be doing this weekend.
Kate and Gerry McCann (Maddie’s parents), however, have slammed the documentary and said that it “might hinder the investigation”.
They have refused to participate in series, and have also noted that they don’t see “how will it help with the search for Maddie”.
A global search has been underway since Maddie disappeared 12 years ago, and her story remains to be one of the world biggest mysteries.
