Woman’s Body Photoshopped In 18 Countries To Globally Question The Notion Of Beauty Standard

Different graphic designers from around the world were asked by a U.K.-based online doctor to photoshop one single picture from the same model, and try to make her more attractive to the citizens in the country they live in.

Widely held perceptions of beauty and perfection can have a deep and lasting cultural impact on both women and men. The goal of this project is to better understand potentially unrealistic standards of beauty and to see how such pressures vary around the world.
