One of the hottest topics for candidates on the 2020 election circuit has been the student debt crisis.
The regular people, however, are affected a lot more from it than a campaign strategy.

Tuition and fees at public and private schools rose around three times the rate of inflation between 2007 and 2018, and borrowers currently owe more than $1.5 trillion in student loans, or $34,000 per person on average.
