Some people have lyrical names, others have names that have a fascinating origin story. Some got their names their grandparents had, while others have names that hearken to a deep cultural heritage, and that’s cool. Some people, however, are stuck with last names that spark a childhood full of dirty jokes about their last name, and there’s nothing they could have done about it.
Twitter user Natalie Weiner recently decided to share how an online form rejected her last name because it “thought” that she’s actually using “offensive language”, and it opened up a whole conversation about “glorious names”.
As it turns out, many people have last name struggles, and tons of people with similar problems chimed in and shared their stores about living with a “dirty” last name.
