We all know the old saying that we are what we eat, but how do our diets really reflect on us?
Well, photographer Gregg Segal traveled the world to find out. He took photos of kids from different countries and cultures, surrounded by the stuff they eat.
He visited 9 countries over 3 years, including the USA, India, Malaysia, Germany, France, Italy, Senegal, the United Arab Emirates, and Brazil, and he documented his findings in his book called ‘Daily Bread: What Kids Eat Around the World’.
He told Bored Panda that he focused on kids because eating habits start young, and if you don’t get it right when you’re 9 or 10 years old, you are going to have it harder as you get older.
