Plus-Size Models Are Photoshopped To Look Skinny In Order To Make A Powerful Point

It’s pretty hard nowadays to tell what’s real and what’s not. Trust us, most of the images on the social media or magazines have been altered using computer software, and it has been slowly distorting our understanding of reality itself.

There are many people who refuse to put up with this, and they want to show the truth to everyone.

Diana Sirokai and Callie Thorpe are the two beautiful plus-size models who teamed up with professional photographer Karizza to show how photo-editing distorts the reality. Karizza took their photos, and then made extreme edits.

Diana wrote that she thinks they look amazing both ways, but the purpose of this was to show how magazines and the media take editing to a different level. We live in such a fake world, that models and celebrities do not even look like themselves.

She finished with: “Own who you are and slay!”

They also showed the original picture:

It’s not the first time these two ladies spread the message of body positivity

Last month Diana shared a photo of her next to Kim Kardashian, saying: “We are both women with different bodies”

Their message is that everyone should love themselves in the body we are given.

Maybe it is so that we should live happily in the body we’re given. But we don’t have the body we’re given as soon as you reach adolescence. It is what you make of it.
