This is what she told the hosts:
“Sometimes being bigger, people didn’t necessarily look twice at you. Now that I’m in good shape, people offer to carry my groceries to the car and hold doors open for you.”
She added that even though she was a confident person even at her heavier weight, but she questioned if this is how thinner people are ‘always’ treated, because she had never known.
The actress said that she finds it interesting how much attention people pay to others’ weights, especially when it comes to celebrities – even when there’s so much else happening in the world. This is the truth many people face, especially women, and it’s sad to see how weight is perceived.
