Research Finds That Men Spend 7 Hours A Year Hiding In The Bathroom For ‘Peace And Quiet’

What do you do when you want to catch a break? Well, for a number of men, the answer is “go to the bathroom”.

According to a new survey, the bathroom is a popular destination to unwind, and many have reported that they use it as a place to find some peace and quiet in their homes. Well, it seems like the bathrooms are no longer a place where you go, do your business, and leave.

We all need time, and we all need to use the bathroom, but what do these two things have in common? Well, more than you think.

A new research has revealed that men spend a cumulative total of 7 hours a year in the bathroom just as a form of escape!

In the survey, men reported that they ran off to the bathroom to have some down time on a stressful day.

The research was commissioned by a bathroom company named Pebble Gray, and it was issued to 1,000 men. Most of them cited a number of reasons for their bathroom sanctuaries.

Some of them were actually avoiding chores, and some just wanted to have some screen-on time. Yes, that’s right. Some men said that they were going to the bathroom just to use their cell phones undisturbed. Is this overly extreme?

Well, anything is a sanctuary, if you try hard enough I guess.
