Retailer Used Non-Pregnant Models For Their Materinity Line And People Don’t Like It One Bit

If you’ve never been pregnant, you may not know something interesting about baby bellies: they are all different!
Some sit low, some sit high, sometimes they are “tilted” on the left, sometimes they are “tilted” on the right, or sometimes the baby really needs to stretch out a leg. Yes, you get it: baby bellies can get weird.

The online retailer BooHoo.com, however, probably doesn’t know this, and they are now receiving backlash from the internet after they used a clearly not-pregnant mode for their maternity line. They went on to add padding, but it made things even worse.

We are not quite sure what happened here, and for all we know, they had real pregnant models who canceled on them last minute, or maybe their water broke.
What we know is that they used a Camilla Moraes as a model, and she looks absolutely gorgeous. However, it is very obvious that she is not pregnant – and it kinda is what you need to be when you’re modeling maternity clothes.

So, the retailer decided to pad Camilla’s mid-section, but what most people noticed was that her “baby belly” had corners. Check out what we’re talking about below:
