Student Nurse’s Car Got Targeted By Vandals, So She Had To Leave A Note On Her Car

A 22-year-old student nurse who is on placement at Royal Preston Hospital begged the local residents to stop vandalizing her car, even though she legally parks on their streets. She can’t afford the hospital parking fees and she was even forced to place a handwritten note on her windscreen so people who keep targeting her car could see it.

She said that she cannot afford to pay for the parking, and she isn’t eligible for a permit.

Her note was posted on social media, and it sparked a flood of comments from NHS staff. They reported that many people have experienced similar stuff.

Other student nurses have spoken up as well, and many reported that their cars have also been scratched, or they had their tires let down.

Another student nurse faces a bill between $400-$500 after someone forcefully wedged a cone underneath her car. The cone broke her car, and she was required to take it to the repair shop, as she couldn’t afford the full repairs.
The hospital doesn’t grant the student nurses parking passes, so they can’t park on site.
