Many people are actually very impolite with pregnant women, and they treat them like public property, demanding to touch the belly, etc. To add to that, they have the audacity to ask inappropriate and extremely personal questions about the pregnancy, but what’s even worse is when these people approach someone that isn’t, in fact, pregnant.
One dad decided to take it to the Am I The A-Hole subreddit to ask if he was in the wrong for not punishing his teen daughter after she snapped at a nosy woman at church, and this story is a lot to take in.
First, he shared that Sarah, their adopted teenage daughter, has PCOS, and she looks pregnant, which can’t be easy on a teenager.
“Today at church, some woman decided that Sarah was in fact pregnant, and that it was her CHANCE at a free baby. Sarah went off on her, calling her a “barren b****h”, among other things, and causing a major scene that left that woman sobbing.” – wrote the confused dad. What bothers him now is the fact that he doesn’t feel like he should punish the teenage girl in any way for her reaction, but his wife thinks otherwise. What do you think?
