Although we all know that the 8th of March is International Women’s Day, many people are asking when is the International Men’s Day? Some of them really want to know the information, but most of them are just trying to prove a bizarre point about sexism. And yes, there is International Men’s Days, and it’s on the 19th of November, “celebrated” since 1992.
The day is a chance to discuss and approach many issues that affect men, and how the society can deal with them, according to the International Men’s Day UK website. Some of them include marginalised men in society, high suicide rate and male victims of sexual and domestic abuse.
Comedian Richard Herring has taken the above mention question that comes up every International Women’s Day personally: he has responded to every person that has asked the question on Twitter, answering it so there is no mistake.
He has been doing this for years now, but this year he got a lot of work to do because the questions have started to come early. We wish him the best of luck!
