Wedding Venue Refuses Gay Couple to Get Married, They Expose It To The World

Mike Gill and Coty Heaton are a gay couple from Nashville, Tennessee, who recently celebrated a small victory over bigotry.
On top of that, a wedding venue that refused to host their wedding due to them being gay now faces backlash online – and for a good reason!

It all started when Gill and Heaton picked out Barn in the Bend as their desired venue for their wedding. However, even though they had booked the venue, they received an email from the venue owner, telling them that they can’t get married.

Yes, the venue owner does have a choice to not host gay weddings. However, Heaton and Gill also had a choice to tell the world that – and that’s exactly what they did. Heaton shared the email exchange on Facebook, where it went viral and reached celebrities such as George Jackson.
In a post, he even urged his followers to donate money to The Trevor Project, a charity that provides support to LGBTQ+ youth in the name of Jackie Daniels.

Additionally, hundreds of people have flooded the venue’s TripAdvisor and Yelp pages and left one-star reviews.
