A woman from Indonesia has been hospitalized after she was inflicted by 100 lashes by Sharia law because she “dared to be near a man who was not her husband”.
The 30-year-old can bee seen kneeling on the public stage in the extremely conservative province of Aceh in front of a huge crowd.
The Islamic law rules over the region, and it said that she was guilty of adultery for being in the presence of a man who was not her husband.
The woman, identified as Mazidah, eventually collapsed from the injuries inflicted by the masked enforced using a whip on her.
