The most natural human reaction when we succeed at something is to celebrate that achievement with our loved ones and have our hard work and effort acknowledged. However, is it inappropriate or mean-spirited if to celebrate your success if it might highlight someone else’s failure?
Well, Reddit user u/Competitive-Abies-63 decided to take it to Reddit’s popular Am I The A-hole sub to ask if she was in the wrong for wanting to celebrate her achievements, even if it meant ‘undermining’ her brother (at least that’s what her parents told her).
