Life, unfortunately, doesn’t always turn out the way we wanted it to be.
This is also what happened to this woman, Debbie Gerlach from Arizona, just 8 months before her wedding day.
Her tragic story posted on Facebook broke the hearts of many people and it carries a powerful message.
To be specific, on the exact day that the wedding was supposed to take place, she published her wedding photoshoot, but with one big heartbreaking difference, her husband that died 8 months prior wasn’t in it.
Her future husband-to-be died tragically in a motorcycle accident and was photoshopped in the pictures in an attempt to share one important message.
In her open letter, she shares that on this day when she was supposed to marry her best friend and the love of her life, to be walked down the aisle, to share each other’s wedding vows and everything she dreamed of doing as a little girl – would not happen because of a wrong choice of one person.
“And that is because a person made a choice that has forever changed my life, a choice to NOT stop at a stop sign, to NOT stop when he saw my fiancé coming toward him on his motorcycle, but instead tried to hurry across the street.”
“Please, I beg each and every one of you that reads this post, WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES, stop at stop signs and drive with care because you never know whose whole world is on that bike. Maybe if that person stopped, I’d be marrying my Randy, my best friend, the love of my life.
I love you Randy Z Zimmerman.”
