Even though we live in 2020, and we should be aware that there are people in this world that don’t want to have kids, there are still people that are willing to pressure their relatives (usually their own children) to have kids, and this is especially the case around the holidays.
Reddit user u/Doesnotcontributes recently decided to share the story of how her whole family got into a massive argument just before Christmas, and her parents even wrote her out of their will because she was the only one of her three other siblings that don’t have children.
The woman demanded that her family members leave her house in response, and she let them know that she wouldn’t be hosting Christmas at her house this time.
She took it to the AITA subreddit to ask fellow Redditors whether she’s in the right to do what she did, and Reddit certainly delivered.
Even though u/Doesnotcontributes’ was removed from the subreddit because it breached the rule on not posting revenge stories, most Redditors thought that she was most definitely not in the wrong here, and they blamed her family for their belief that the only way to contribute to the family is by having children.
