Probably each one of us has asked ourselves the same question: When do we know when is the right time to marry our partner? Yes, you love them, you are great together, but when exactly is the right time to get married? Do the two of you have to live together for some time first? Or you wait to pay off your student debts? Or both of you have already landed a stable job?
Twitter user @cxkenobxkerry believes that there’s one much more important question we should ask ourselves: Should we really marry that person in the first place?
She recently posted a popular Twitter thread titled “Don’t Get Married Before”, and in the thread, she listed all the things we should know about ourselves and our partner before we decide to get married to them. The post is very powerful, and it touches on a wide range of topics that should reveal whether the two of you are compatible with each other or not. We invite you to take a look at the thread for yourself below, and maybe it will provide you with some answers (I know it did for me!).
What do you think about this? Of course, no one expects you to “pass” all of these, but I believe that if two people decide to get married and have a future together, they must match at least a bit in each one of these questions.
The thread gained huge popularity, and many people chimed in and added their own important questions one has to ask before getting married.
