The U.S. (and the whole world) has taken it to the streets to protest against police brutality and support the Black Lives Matter movement. However, what is it exactly that we should change, and how can we help people of color? Although there’s no simple answer, there are a few things that we can start doing immediately to help battle this plague.
Betsy Faulkner is a Manchester-based woman who put up a poster with a list of books, movies, podcasts, and documentaries one should watch, read, and listen in order to support the Black Lives Matter movement.
Faulkner shared the poster on her Twitter profile, alongside a list of organizations and charities you can contact or donate if you want to make a difference.
When Faulkner created the post, she had no idea it would gain so much popularity, and she assumed that it would just stay among her friends and followers. However, to her surprise, it reached a much, much wider audience, and thousands of people have since reshared it.
