When you get assaulted by someone, it’s only natural that you’ll defend yourself, right? I mean, nobody should be surprised that you should defend yourself when someone attacks you, and that’s exactly what Harriet Bowley’s story is about.
Namely, the 21-year-old shared what happened at a club she was at last week on Twitter, and she explained how she ‘smacked a lad’ after he assaulted her. Following the incident, she wrote that the guy looked ‘genuinely furious and shocked’.
She urged people to normalize women standing up for themselves when being harassed by complete strangers, and many people stood up for her.
