Do you think there’s a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to shower? Well, even if you don’t, one woman believes there is, and she has since divided the internet on what everyone believes is the ‘normal’ way to shower.
Twitter user @Backpainandwine took it to Twitter to ask her followers to help her settle a debate. She asked if it’s normal to shower with your back to the shower or to face the water.
Her question has since sparked a heated conversation between the thousands of users, and many people are saying that how they shower depends on whether they’re washing their hair or just their body.
Help me settle a debate. It’s normal to shower with your back to the shower right? Not facing the water?

What do you think? What’s the ‘correct’ way of showering?
This is how Twitter responded to the question:
TBH, when you’ve spent your childhood (and teenage) years bathing in one of these, shower etiquette is not your foremost concern😳 pic.twitter.com/n2fiHP7NSB

According to a Glamour poll from 2010, 64 percent face away, 21 percent face the water, and 15 percent change the whole time.

I am SHOCKED. I just assumed EVERYONE faced the water. Back to the shower is for hangover recovery only, usually breathing deeply and steadying yourself against the wall, praying you’re not pushing sick down the plug hole before the time’s up.

You only face the water if you are starring in a horror movie
